ISLAMABAD:Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League vice chairman and APHC AJK leader Syed Aijaz Rehmani on Tuesday urged people of occupied Kashmir to observe strike on October 27 to make it clear before the world that they would not accept India’s occupation come what may.
The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League asked the people observe black day in protest against Indian illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said Indian troops had invaded Jammu and Kashmir and occupied in total disregard to the partition plan of the Subcontinent and against the aspirations of the Kashmiris.
The United Nations has passed several resolutions mandating a plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir to determine the future of the territory.
He said Kashmiris were facing injustice and Indian state terrorism for the last 74 years.
27th October is being observed as Black Day to convey to the world that the Kashmiris reject India’s illegal occupation on Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that “It is the unfortunate day, when the Kashmiris were robbed by India of their birth right—the right of self-determination.”
