KHANEWAL: Rescue 1122 Khanewal has issued emergency high alert duty plan and cancelled the leaves of all rescuers, in connection with bye election in PP-206, Khanewal-IV to be held on December 16.
The rescuers would remain alert to provide first aid during polling and quick response will be given in case of any emergency or accident during vote casting.
According to Rescue 1122 spokesman, District Emergency Officer (DEO) Rescue 1122 Muhammad Yasir Raza reviewed the emergency arrangements regarding by-election PP-206 on Monday and directed the Rescuers to perform their duty with honesty and dedication.
He asked the people to dial Rescue on1122 from PTCL and inform about emergency in case of mobile phone service suspension during vote casting.
He said that over 283 rescuers equipped with latest tools, ambulances and fire vehicles would remain alert on special duty during election.
Muhammad Yasir Raza said that 30 ambulances, 10 fire vehicles, rescue vehicles besides these 48 mobile rescue posts would be established.
Emergency Officer (Operations) Muhammad Sami Ullah and emergency officer Admin Engineer Muhammad Baber would supervise all arrangements.
