NATHIAGALI:Director-General Rescue 1122 KPK Khateer Ahmed on Wednesday said that they were
committed to ensuring Rescue1122 as the first respondent during any emergency.
During a visit to Rescue1122 station 33 Nathiagali, he informed that during the coronavirus outbreak, Rescue 1122 has provided services including shifting to hospitals and quarantine centers to 10000 patients.
Rescue1122 officials also provided services at Bacha Khan Airport Peshawar, Torkham border to shift international travelers to hospitals and quarantine centers, he informed.
During his visit, he also inspected equipment, vehicles and under-construction building, he directed the contractor to complete the building following the rules, regulations and using standard material.
With the cooperation of the provincial government, Rescue 1122 administration is going to establish a permanent, temporary and container rescue center at tourist spots to ensure the safety of the tourists and also to provide emergency services to the locals, the DG Rescue 1122 said.
In-charge Rescue 1122 Abbottabad Imran Yousufzai while briefing the DG said besides emergency services Rescue 1122 Abbottabad also provided emergency and first aid training to various public and private sector institutions.
