BUREWALA:Unknown motorcycle riding armed dacoits looted over Rs 1 million in two incidents in Vehari district on Wednesday.
An employee of a local pesticides dealer, Muhammad Tayyab, was on way back to his office after withdrawing Rs 200,000 cash from a local bank when two unidentified criminals riding a motorcycle intercepted him at Vehari Bazaar and snatched the cash.
Model town police was investigating. In another incident, a person Abbas Bhatti, carrying Rs 840,000 cash, was going to bank for deposit when three unknown criminals riding a motorcycle stopped him and snatched the cash near Chak 421/EB in Sheikh Faazil police area, Burewala. Police have started investigations.
