DI KHAN: : Three unidentified armed robbers Friday looted Rs 3.5 million from a private bank and shot injured a security guard on showing resistance in the jurisdiction of Sadar Police Station.
The police said that unidentified armed dacoits, wearing face masks stormed a local branch of Allied Bank and held the operational staff hostage at gunpoint and accumulated Rs 3.5 million cash from the counters and managed to escape.
The police said that the injured security guard identified as Kamran son of Muhammad Ramzan resident of Dhakki was shifted to hospital where his condition was stated to be critical.
The police officials including DPO Najmul Hasnain and others reached the spot and started investigation.
