ISLAMABAD: Sarah Mahboob Khan clinched ladies singles title of Subh-e-Nau National Ranking Tennis Tournaments 2022 after beating Noor Malik in the final at PTF Complex Islamabad on Friday.
Sarah exhibited great control right from the outset to edge pass Noor 6-1,6-1.
Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) President Salim Saifullah Khan, who was the chief guest, distributed the prizes among the winners of different categories. Arshad Malik Chairman WG Group of Companies, was the guest of honour.
Salim Saifullah lauded the efforts of Sub-e-Nau Chairperson Shahida Kausar Farooq for organizing the tournament for the promotion of women’s tennis in Pakistan and congratulated both the finalists on their performance.
Shahida Kausar thanked the PTF president for extending all-out support for the smooth conduct of the event and announced that she would try to organize more tournaments for women and juniors. She also thanked the sponsors, without whose support, she said, the event would not have been possible.
