VEHARI:Police have finalized security arrangements made for the Christmas celebrations and for this purpose over 838 police officials would be deployed on the duty to avoid any untoward incident.
According to police sources, a total of 43 ceremonies would be organized across the district where foolproof security arrangements would be made.
The police officials would be deployed at churches, residential colonies of Christian community, entry, exit points of the city, parks and other recreational places of the district.
The police and volunteers would ensure proper body search of every one through metal detector while walk through gates would also be installed at churches.
Separate parking arrangements have been made outside the churches, police sources added.
On the other hand, search operations were continued at the routes of churches and adjacent areas under preventive measures to avoid any mishap.
