RAWALPINDI:A security guard deployed outside a bank was injured by two unknown armed men when he tried to foil their robbery plan in the jurisdiction of Ganjmandi here on Tuesday.
Resultantly, the guard suffered bullet injuries and was shifted to hospital. Robbers managed to escape from the scene with a handsome amount.
A police spokesman confirmed the incident. Soon after SP Rawal, SDPO City Circle and SHO police station Ganjmandi rushed to the scene and collected evidence besides recording statements of eye witnesses.
Meanwhile local police have arrested three proclaimed offenders involved in different cases.
Police have registered separate cases against all of them and further investigation was in progress
