RAWALPINDI: Assistant Commissioner Cantonment Rawalpindi Nosheen Israr has sealed six shops and imposed a fine of Rs 10, 000 for violating Corona SOPs during raids in various markets.
According to a district administration spokesman, the shops were sealed on Bank Road.
She was accompanied by Special Magistrate Saleem Butt.
Notices were also affixed on the shops sealed during the operation launched against the rules violators.
The spokesman informed that the DC had directed the Assistant Commissioners and Magistrates to remain in the field and ensure strict implementation of the SOPs and other preventive measures issued by the government to contain spread of coronavirus.
He informed that the administration had launched crackdown in the entire district and action was being taken against the violators.
