LAHORE:The international fast food chain Mcdonald’s will help impart skills to students of the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (ITHM) and provide them with an on-job training opportunity.
It was decided in a meeting, held between the marketing team of McDonald’s Pakistan and Punjab Tourism Secretary Asadullah Faiz at the TDCP head office, on Thursday.
The secretary also constituted a committee, which would prepare syllabus for the ITHM keeping in view the modern requirements.
In future, McDonald’s and the ITHM would train students and staff as per the standard operating procedures (SOPs) of the McDonald’s for promotion of hospitality and hotel industry.
