FAISALABAD:The education unit of the city traffic police held an awareness seminar about traffic laws at a private school here on Thursday.
The seminar was addressed by Col (retd) Muhammad Shad, In-charge education unit Muhammad Saleem Akhtar and Senior Traffic Warden Mubashar Bajwa. Teachers, School staff and a large number of students attended the seminar.
The speakers said that the objective of the seminar was providing awareness to people especially youth about traffic laws, road safety, zebra crossing etc.
They urged the motorists to ensure use of seat belt during driving for their safety in road accidents.
They also urged the youth to wear helmets while driving motorcycles. It will save them from head injuries in case of any road mishap.
The traffic police is holding awareness seminars at different universities, colleges, and government and private schools for the youth.
