KARACHI: The Karachi Traffic Police in its recently launched campaign against underage drivers and those responsible for permitting underage to drive fined over 17000 underage drivers and over 9000 parents/vehicle owners and issued tickets of about Rs. 17.8215 million in past twenty days.
According to spokesman for Karachi Traffic Police on Monday, traffic police during the campaign launched under the directive of Sindh High Court, fined 17115 underage drivers and issued tickets of Rs. 8.5575 million while 9264 parents/ vehicle owners were fined with challan of Rs. 9.264 million from September 2nd to 21st.
Moreover, 16118 vehicles were also confiscated during the campaign.
