FAISALABAD:As many as 11 shopkeepers were booked over violation of the anti-dengue standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the district on Friday.
The Health Department teams spotted dengue larvae at some shops and registered cases against 11 persons. The total number of cases registered against shopkeepers over SOPs violation had surged to 593, said District Programme Coordinator Dr Zulqarnain.
He said that inspection of hotspots including graveyards, tyre shops, and scrap dealers was continuing and dengue larvae, if detected, were being washed away with chemicals.
