Lodhran: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) UFG Control Task Force raided and disconnected twelve more meters including a commercial metre.
According to details, three consumers’s metres were found tempered due to broken metre counters on which their metres were disconnected and sent to laboratory.
One user was found involved in gas theft by installing his meter upside down on which metre was disconnected and sent to the laboratory.
Three users who were on non-billing were disconnected and further departmental action was recommended.
The metres of four consumers were installed out of the service area due to which the department was suffering losses due to leakages, further departmental action was recommended by disconnecting their meters as per UFG control policy.
A domestic consumer was found using metre for commercial purposes at a medicine office had his meter disconnected and sent to billing for further fine.
Additionally, four consumers whose meters were disconnected from the service were t
ransferred to meter service.
Four consumers who were found involved in the crime of supplying gas to more than one house have had their extensions removed.
