PESHAWAR:A 14-year-old boy was killed when a shell exploded near his house in Sarband Wanda Mir Wali area of Lakki Marwat early Saturday morning.
Police said the victim, identified as Yaseen, had left his house to take livestock out for grazing when the shell landed nearby and killed him on the spot.
The police shifted the body to City Hospital Lakki Marwat for medico-legal formalities.
They have launched an investigation to determine the origin of the shell and establish where it was fired from.
The incident has spread concern among local residents.
