ISLAMABAD:Islamabad Capital Territory Police (ICTP) has arrested 15 absconders involved in heinous crimes during the past 20 days.
The ICTP spokesman said the arrest was made following Inspector General Police (IGP) Dr Akbar Nasir Khan’s directions to ensure law and order in the city by reducing the crime rate.
The absconders involved in murder, attempt to murder, and robbery were arrested from various parts of the city, including Koral, Karachi Company, Nilore, Shams Colony, Ramna, Tarnol, Golra, Margalla, Secretariat, and Kohsar.
The ICTP was committed to ensuring the safety and security of the citizens and that no laxity would be tolerated in that regard, said the police spokesman urging the masses to be vigilant and report crime to curb anti-social elements.
