Sargodha: District police arrested 36 suspects including 17 proclaimed offenders (POs) during an on going crackdown across the district here on Friday.
According to a spokesperson, raiding teams conducted targeted operations across various localities and apprehended the wanted criminals involved in serious offences.
During the operations, police recovered one kilogram of hashish, a quantity of ice (crystal methamphetamine), 100 liters of liquor, along with illegal arms including Kalashnikovs, pistols, and ammunition from the possession of the arrested suspects.
The arrested suspects were identified as Husnain, Sibtain, Khaleel, Rasheed, Rehman, Umar, Shafique, Siddique, Anwer, Kamran, Waleed, Iqbal, Naseer, Kaleem, and others.
The spokesman emphasized that the crackdown against outlaws would continue across the district to curb criminal activities and protect the lives and property of citizens.
