Islamabad: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police apprehended 19 outlaws on Monday involved in different criminal activities including drug peddling and possessing illegal weapons recovered weapon, and narcotics from their possession.
A public relations officer told reporter that the Police Shalimar, Sihala, Khanna, Kirpa, Sabzi Mandi and Sumbal station teams took legal action against accused involved in possessing illegal weapons and drug peddling activities.
He said police team arrested 8 accused involved in different criminal activities and recovered 255 gram ice, six 30 bore pistols with ammunition and one iron punch from their possession. Moreover 11 absconders and proclaimed offenders were also arrested from various areas of the city during the last 24 hours.
SSP Operations/Investigation Muhammad Arslan Shahzaib said that the Islamabad Police is actively working to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property in the federal capital, emphasizing that no elements will be allowed to disrupt citiz
ens’ peace. Protecting the lives, property, and dignity of citizens is the Islamabad Police’s top priority.
