LAHORE:To empower female students and foster their self-reliance, the Lahore Traffic Police have launched a two-day free scooty driving training programme.
According to CTO Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi, female students can receive free training at five driving schools established across the city; instructions have been issued to the respective in-charges to conduct these free training sessions.
Administrations of schools and colleges may also contact the Traffic Police to arrange special training sessions.
Scooty driving training centers have been set up at Liberty, Greater Iqbal Park, LOS Ferozepur Road, and Manawan. Additionally, a free driving course for women is currently underway at the LOS Ferozepur Road location. Dedicated “Gen Z” counters have also been established at all these centers for the convenience of the female students.
According to the CTO, during the two-day training, expert instructors will provide the students with practical scooty-riding instruction, as well as guidance on safe driving practices and traffic laws. Pink Polo Cup: FG Deen Polo Team reaches the final.
It was stated that over 200,000 driving licenses have been issued to motorcyclists this year, while special measures are also being taken to ensure the safety of female drivers on the roads.
