RAWALPINDI:Police arrested a vehicle lifter and recovered two stolen vehicles worth tens of thousands of rupees from his possession during a crackdown here on Tuesday.
According to a police spokesman, Wah Cantt police held a vehicle lifter namely Arif. More revelations are expected during an investigation.
Police have registered a case against him and started investigation.
Similarly, Taxila police held three proclaimed offenders involved in a kidnapping case, the arrested criminals were including Shamriz, Khalid and Abdul Aziz, who were wanted police from this year.
SP Potohar Muhammad Waqas Khan congratulated Wah Cantt police and said that the arrested accused will be brought to court with solid evidence and will be punished. He said that it is the duty of the police to protect the lives and property of the citizens.
