DERA ISMAIL KHAN:At least 20 people got injured as a passenger bus met an accident here in Sara-Khawrah area on Dera-Zhob road on Sunday morning.
According to Rescue 1122 spokesman, a passenger bus heading to Peshawar from Quetta hit a truck in Sara-Khawrah area of Sub-division Darazinda after its driver lost his control over the long vehicle due to brake failure.
After receiving information, the medical team of Rescue 1122, Station-55 timely responded and reached the site. As a result of the accident, 20 people including eight children and four women got injured.
The rescue team shifted the injured to Darazinda Hospital after providing them first aid. Later, the rescue 1122 team shifted the seven seriously injured persons to DHQ hospital Dera Ismail Khan.
