NOWSHERA VIRKAN:GEPCO surveillance teams have detected 21 cases of electricity theft in Nowshera Virkan and adjoining villages over the past six weeks, imposing detection bills worth millions of rupees here on Monday.
The operation was conducted by GEPCO Sub-Division No. 1 on the special directives of GEPCO Gujranwala Region Chief Executive Jam Muhammad Ayub, under the supervision of XEN Suleman Ansari and the command of SDO Engineer Mehrab Tariq.
Police complaints have also been forwarded for registration of cases against the suspects.
Suleman Ansari said GEPCO surveillance teams were actively working to curb electricity theft.
