WAH CANTT: A 22-year-old man was found dead after allegedly hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his residence in the Asifabad area within the jurisdiction of Wah Saddar Police Station, police sources said on Tuesday.
According to police, the deceased, identified as Muneb Rafeeq, was alone at home after his family left to attend a wedding ceremony. He reportedly locked himself in a room, where he was later found hanging.
Police shifted the body to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Taxila, for a postmortem examination.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
