FAISALABAD:Assistant Commissioner (AC) Sammundri Suleman Mansha has seized 220 bags of urea fertilizer from Adda Salooni Jhal.
A spokesman for local administration said here on Sunday that the AC Sammundri on a tip-off conducted raid near Adda Salooni Jhang and seized the fertilizer loaded in a tractor trolley to sell it in the black.
The AC Sammundri imposed Rs. 25,000 fine on the tractor driver and the urea bags were confiscated to provide the fertilizer to the farmers on government-fixed rate, he added.
