MULTAN:Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) on Monday took decisive action by disconnecting gas connections for 24 consumers in Multan, Shujabad, Khanewal, and Dera Ghazi Khan.
These consumers were found guilty of using compressors, a practice that was strictly prohibited and illegal.
Official sources have confirmed that the general manager, SNGPL Multan, Rashid Ishaaq, promptly addressed this unlawful act by ordering the immediate disconnection of gas meters. Among the affected, eight meters were disconnected in Multan, one in Shujabad, six in Dera Ghazi Khan, and nine meters in Khanewal.
GM Sui Gas emphasized that no one would be permitted to employ compressors in violation of the regulations.
