Sargodha:A meeting of the Divisional Environmental Approval Committee, chaired by Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali, approved 24 environmental clearance cases of poultry farms in Sargodha, Khushab and Bhakkar districts.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Commissioner Coordination, Deputy Director Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Deputy Director Public Relations and other relevant officers.
The cases were reviewed in light of environmental rules, regulations and legal requirements.
The commissioner directed officials to ensure transparency, merit and strict compliance with environmental laws, stressing that environmental protection and public interest must remain priorities alongside business and development activities.
