26,487 candidates participated in PPSC’s PMS, Tehsildar’s first phase exams

Lahore: The first phase of PMS (Provincial Management Services) conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission, the compulsory paper of Journal Knowledge and the Tehsildar examinations were successfully completed.

A total of 54,580 candidates were registered in both the examinations. The Tehsildar examinations were held in the first shift in the morning, in which the attendance was 47.66 percent, while the second shift in the PMS examination was attended by 49.92 percent.

10,486 candidates participated in the first phase of PMS examination and 16,001 candidates in the Tehsildar examination. The examinations were held in seven divisions of Punjab including Lahore. Strict security arrangements were made on this occasion.

PPSC Chairman, Secretary and members made a surprise visit and reviewed the arrangements. Regional Directors, Overall In-charge, officers and staff were congratulated for the excellent arrangements.
