FAISALABAD:Police have arrested 28 criminals and recovered drugs and illegal weapons from them in the district during the last 24 hours.
Police on Friday said, raiding teams nabbed four proclaimed offenders (POs) and eight drug pushers, besides recovering 1.7-kg hashish and 59 litres of liquor from them.
The police also held eight gamblers and recovered Rs19,300 stake money from them.
Meanwhile, police busted eight accused and recovered seven pistols, a rifle and a number of bullets from their possession.
