Lodhran: The verification process of special persons is underway for the second phase of Punjab government’s initiative ‘Himmat Card’ as 461 applications have been received in district Lodhran.
According to official sources, teams were busy with the door-to-door verification of special persons. Special persons with PMT score up to 40 would be eligible for the card.
The registered persons would get Rs 10,500 quarterly installments through these cards. The Bank of Punjab will issue ATM cards to eligible persons and through the Himmat Card. It’s worth mentioning here that about 40,000 special persons received the Himmat Cards in the first phase while 25,000 more cards will be issued in the second phase, sources concluded.
