DERA ISMAIL KHAN :The police seized 500 litres of Iranian diesel here on Saturday foiling its smuggling bid.
According to a police spokesman, while conducting a successful operation against the smuggling of illegal diesel, dutsun loaded with Diesel Tank was stopped in the limits of the Parowa police station and 500 litres of Iranian Diesel was recovered.
The police arrested the driver who was identified as Mohammad Shakir son of Mohammad Javed.
A smuggling case was later registered against the arrested person.
