Larkana: Under the leadership of SSP Larkana, Ahmed Chaudhry QPM, PSP, Larkana Police has uncovered a major drug network.Five drug dealers arrested on Sunday.From drug dealer Khalid Abro, two kilograms (2000 grams) of Ice recovered within the limits of University Police Station.Drug dealer Saleem Patafi, six kilograms (6000 grams) of Charas recovered within the limits of Bakrani Police Station.
Drug dealer Kamran alias Vidhayo Abro, over one kilogram (1100 grams) of Charas recovered within the limits of Dari Police Station. His fleeing accomplices, Dodo Abro, threw over one kilogram (1200 grams) of Charas and escaped. Lady police Constable, accused Nazia Korai, 150 grams of Ice recovered within the limits of Dari Police Station.
Accused Nazia’s mother, Farzana, over two kilograms (2100 grams) of Charas recovered within the limits of Dari Police Station. Her accomplice, Nadeem alias Nado, threw two kilograms of Charas and escaped.
SSP Stated Larkana Police, with the assistance of a federal civil sensitive agency, conducted an operation and arrested a lady police constable Nazia Korai, her mother Farzana, along with notorious Khalid Abro, drug dealer Kamran Abro, and drug dealer Saleem Patafi. Over 02 kilograms of Ice and over 12 kilograms of Charas were recovered from the suspects’ possession.Nazia Korai used her police job and uniform as a cover to supply drugs across various districts of Sindh province. She can be seen herself smoking charas in a video.
SSP said “I had formed a team under the supervision of DSP Aqil Fahad Arshad Mughal and In-charge CIA Sub-Inspector Arshad Mahmood Malik. With the assistance of federal civil sensitive agencies, this team dismantled the entire network within a few days”.
Initial investigations reveal that accused Khalid Abro supplied drugs via motorcycle, and accused Nazia Korai delivered drugs to various locations under the cover of her uniform, in which her mother was also her accomplice.
During initial interrogation, disclosures from these narcotics dealers have revealed some other names, against whom actions are also ongoing. Reiterated his resolve, stating that no effort will be spared in making Larkana drug-free, he added.
