Nawabshah: The Education Department has revised school timings throughout the province, due to an increase in cold weather and chilly winds across Sindh. According to an official notification, all government and private educational institutions will open at 9:00 a.m. starting from Monday, January 12, 2026.

The revised timings will remain in effect until January 26. The decision was taken in view of the ongoing cold wave, which has made it difficult for students to attend school during early morning hours. Parents and students have welcomed the move, terming it a relief amid the prevailing harsh winter conditions.
