Bahawalpur: A woman sustained injuries when unidentified miscreant attacked her with knife at her house in Hasilpur.

According to Rescue-1122 here, Shahnaz Bibi,45, was alone at her home as her family members had gone to attend a wedding in neighborhood, when an unknown man entered the house, attacked her by slashing her throat with a knife, and then fled.

After providing initial medical aid,the victim was shifted to THQ hospital where her condition was stated to be out of danger.

Police concerned launched investigation.
