Muzaffargarh: A police constable has been suspended for alleged involvement in oil theft from a pipeline.

According to police sources, Constable Akhtar was allegedly found involved in theft from the PARCO pipeline within the jurisdiction of Saddar Chowk Sarwar Shaheed Police Station.

Folowing the incident,the District Police Officer (DPO) Kot Addu suspended the constable and directed him to report to the police lines.Further departmental action will be taken after completion of the inquiry, the sources added.
