Multan: A tragic rickshaw accident claimed the life of a 12-year-old girl near Fatima Town last night after her scarf ‘dupatta’ got entangled in the vehicle’s tyre.

According to Rescue officials, the girl, identified as Noor Fatima, was traveling in a rickshaw when her dupatta got caught in the rear tyre. As a result, she fell onto the road and sustained fatal injuries.

Rescue officials confirmed that her neck was broken, leading to her death on the spot.

Upon receiving the emergency call, Rescue 1122’s motorcycle ambulance reached the site immediately. The body was handed over to the heirs at the scene, and the concerned police were informed before the rescue operation was concluded.
