RAJANPUR:Mourning processions of 9th Muharram were taken out in different cities of the country which are underway on their designated routes.
The processions, taken out to commemorate the sacrifices of Imam Hussain (RA) and his 72 companion in Karbala, will culminate at their designated destinations in the evening.
Strict security arrangements have been made with the routes of the procession being sealed and deployment of heavy contingents of police and paramilitary force to guard the processions.
In Rohri, Sukkur district thousands of mourners from all over Sindh are being gathered in a mourning procession to pay homage to the martyrs of Karbala.
Thousands of mourners from different parts of Sindh are being reached Rohri, where they will remain busy in mourning throughout the night between 8th and 9th Muharram.
In the early morning on Tuesday, the mourning procession will start from Masjid Shah-i-Iraq in the Karbala ground.
Strict security measures have been adopted throughout the town to prevent any
untoward incident.
Walk-through gates were installed on the route of the procession and the mourners are being allowed to join the procession after passing through the gates.
