ABBOTTABAD:To combat power pilferage, Abbottabad District Administration, under the supervision of Additional Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Arshad Mahmood continued raids against electricity theft on the fourth consecutive day here Saturday .
These measures involved collaboration with the field staff of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) and the local police.
The primary objective of these joint operations is to address the issue of electricity theft and one of the key strategies employed has been the disconnection of electricity supply to properties with unpaid bills and those involved in illicit electricity consumption.
Furthermore, FIRs have been registered against individuals found guilty of engaging in this unlawful activity. This firm stance against electricity theft sends a clear message that such activities would not be tolerated in the district.
