ABBOTTABAD:The district administration has intensified inspections of markets and food outlets to ensure compliance with official price lists and hygiene standards on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Hameedullah Khan.
Additional Assistant Commissioner Kamran Ali Shah inspected fruit and vegetable vendors, tandoors, chicken shops and hotels in the Mandian and College Road markets as part of the ongoing price control and food safety campaign.
During the inspections, violations of official price lists and poor sanitation arrangements were found at several establishments. The use of Chinese salt was also detected in two hotels.
