DERA ISMAIL KHAN:Assistant Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan Farhan Ahmed and District Election Commissioner Abdul Rauf undertook an inspectional visit to various government buildings on Thursday to locate a suitable and safe place for keeping election materials to be used in upcoming general elections in the district.
In this regard, they visited Government Degree College No. 1 and the Assistant Commissioner Darazanda Complex and took stock of existing facilities to ensure transparent and fair polls in the district.
After reviewing existing facilities in government buildings, Assistant Commissioner Farhan Ahmed said that it was a first priority of the district administration to keep election material and other necessary items for the upcoming general election in a safe place.
He said all possible measures were being taken to hold fair and transparent elections and prevent any kind of inconvenience or trouble during the conduct of the election.
