HYDERABAD:A joint team of Assistant Commissioner Babar Khan Nizamani and Mukhtarkar Qazi Ahmed Iqbal Ujjan visited different petrol pumps and hotel and checked the quantity and quality of petrol sold at the pumps. The team imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on hotels for serving sub standard food. The raids were conducted on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Zahid Hussain Rind. The team also issued warnings to hotel owners for improving their services. They conducted raids at various petrol pumps and the hotels of Qazi Ahmed town to provide relief to the general public.
The Assistant Commissioner said that action against service providers would be taken on daily basis to provide relief to the public.
