PESHAWAR:The Clean Khyber Pakhtunkhwa campaign has been intensified across the province, with authorities focusing on removing garbage from roads, streets and public places and ensuring its proper disposal.
The campaign is underway in all divisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, aiming to provide citizens with a clean and healthy environment and improve sanitation facilities in urban areas.
Cleaning activities are being carried out in Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Kohat, Buner and Dargai, where teams are focusing on clearing roads, streets and public spaces of accumulated waste.
Similar efforts have been stepped up in Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur and other areas of the Hazara region. Authorities are also working to transport collected garbage to designated locations and ensure its proper disposal.
The campaign aims at improving cleanliness standards throughout the province by removing waste from residential areas, roadsides and public places. Administrative authorities are coordinating efforts to make urban areas cleaner and provide better facilities to residents.
The administration has urged citizens to support the campaign by disposing of their waste at designated collection points instead of throwing it onto roads, streets and public places.
Officials stressed that public cooperation is essential for the campaign’s success and called on residents to play their part in maintaining cleanliness in their neighbourhoods.
The authorities hope that continued efforts, combined with responsible public behaviour, will help create a cleaner and healthier environment across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
