LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday arrested an individual of a gang involved in illegal currency exchange and hawala transactions. According to a spokesman, on directions of Director General FIA Ahmad Ishaq Jahangir, the team arrested the accused, Muhammad Adil from Rang Mahal, who was involved in hawala transactions.

The operation was conducted on confidential information while Rs 3 million were recovered from the accused during the raid. The items,including registers, receipts, and mobile phones related to hawala transactions, were also seized.
