PESHAWAR:Advisor to KP Caretaker Chief Minister on Health, Dr Riaz Anwar Tuesday announced implementation of the pharmacy policy, which was pending for the last several years.
He was addressing a function organized in connection with World Pharmacist Day under the auspices of the Young Pharmacist Community here in Nishtar Hall.
KP Health Minister, Inayatullah Khan, former MPA Shagufta Malik and beside pharmacists from across the province, students also attended the function at large.
The advisor on health said that pharmacy was a crucial segment of the health sector and the health system was incomplete without it.
He said that pharmacy was the only means through which diseases could be arrested and pain of the patients could be mitigated.
He said that medicine was guaranteed to human health and correct use was impossible without a pharmacist.
He further said that pharmacists also played a crucial role from the manufacturing of medicines to till its impact and usage.
The advisor assured the resolution of problems faced by the pharmacists and pharmacy sector.
