RAWALPINDI:The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), in an operation on Saturday recovered 10.5 kg drugs and arrested an accused.
According to an ANF Headquarters spokesman, ANF Rawalpindi and ANF Intelligence in a joint operation conducted near Chungi Number 26, at Islamabad-Peshawar G.T.Road recovered 10.5 kg drugs including 4.8 kg charras, 3.6 kg opium, 900 grams Ice and 1200 grams heroin from a Toyota Hiace Van.
The recovered drugs were concealed in secret cavities of the vehicles. The ANF also arrested an accused namely Lal Jan resident of Peshawar.
A case has been registered under Anti-Narcotics Act while further investigation was underway.
