Rawalpindi: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has foiled two drug smuggling attempts in Balochistan, arresting two suspects and recovering 55 kilograms of narcotics worth more than Rs 63 million on Wednesday
According to an ANF spokesperson, five kilograms of hashish were seized from the possession of two suspects travelling on a motorcycle near Kutchlak Bypass in District Quetta.
In a separate operation, ANF teams recovered 50 kilograms of crystal heroin that had been concealed in bushes near Darra Goth in District Lasbela.
Cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997, and further investigations are underway, the spokesperson added.
