Gujrat:The Child Protection Bureau rescued 16 children and six adults during an anti-begging operation in Jalalpur Jattan. According to official sources, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi, the joint operation was conducted with the participation of Child Protection Bureau Gujranwala, Labour Department, Rescue 1122, Gujrat Police and Social Welfare Department. The operation covered Service Morh, GTS Chowk, Jail Chowk, Hassan Chowk, Rehman Shaheed Road and other areas. The rescued individuals were shifted to Gujranwala for further legal proceedings and welfare assistance.
