FAISALABAD:An anti-polio drive will commence in Faisalabad district from October 2, 2023.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Headquarters Kashif Raza Awan said at a meeting that 4,869 teams would remain active during the anti-polio campaign which would continue up to October 8, 2023.
The anti-polio teams would administer vaccine drops to 1,536,770 children up to the age of five years.
He directed the health department to complete all necessary arraignments for implementing anti-polio drive in a most befitting manner.
Chief Executive Officer Health Dr Asfand Yar, District Health Officer Dr Saqib Munir and others were also present.
