FAISALABAD: Mr. Umar Ashraf was appointed additional Deputy Director (DC), Environment Protection Department Faisalabad.
A spokesman for the department said here on Sunday that the Environment Protection Department Punjab had appointed Umar Ashraf as Assistant Director Faisalabad and then he was directed to take additional charge of Deputy Director Environment, Faisalabad.
His predecessor Deputy Director Faisalabad Nawaz Khan Sial was transferred.
Newly-appointed DD Environment Umar Ashraf has taken over charge of his office and directed the officers to improve their performance by taking strict action against those who were involved in environment pollution, the spokesman added.
