Quetta: The Balochistan Academy for College Teachers (BACT) is making continuous efforts to enhance the quality of training for college teachers across the province and is implementing an integrated strategy to develop the academy into a model institution, said Director BACT Shoukat Ali Sarparah.
Talking to reporter, the director stressed the promotion of education, teacher training, and strengthening coordination between educational institutions and public communication organizations.
Shoukat Ali Sarparah said the academy remains fully committed to improving the professional standards of college teachers in Balochistan. He added that a comprehensive and well-planned strategy is being followed to transform BACT into a leading training institution in the province.
The director briefed regarding the ongoing examinations being conducted under BACT for students of Boarding Residential Colleges (BRCs) and cadet colleges across the province. He emphasized that examinations are being held in a 100 percent transparent, merit-based, and well-organized manner.
He noted that the process not only provides an effective assessment of students’ academic abilities but also reflects integrity and professional standards. “Strict implementation of the examination code of conduct is being ensured, with teachers and supervisory staff performing their duties responsibly to prevent irregularities,” he added.
The BACT director stressed that the academy aims to promote uniform educational standards in all residential and cadet colleges of the province, ensuring students receive a fair and transparent examination system.
He urged the parents, teachers, and education stakeholders to extend their cooperation, terming the initiative a positive step toward educational improvement and the supremacy of merit in Balochistan.
