Multan:Deputy Commissioner (DC) Waseem Hamid Sandhu has said that the best efforts are being made for beautification of the city as per directives of the provincial government.
During his visit to different ongoing projects to review arrangements here on Wednesday, he stated that under the directives of the Punjab government, efforts to improve and beautify the city’s infrastructure are underway. He said that Water Works Road has been declared a model road and is being beautified.
The deputy commissioner mentioned that alongside the completion of beautification projects, the adjacent park is also being upgraded.
To a question, Sandhu said that funds of Rs two billion are being spent on construction of Metro Command and Control Center building. He informed that 90% of the work has been completed with funds of Rs1.76 billion while the construction would be completed by December.
